Last but not least in our little family is the boy. Of course, this is the internet, so I do not plan to be advertising my step-son out there on a regular basis. But, as a member of the family, it is important to know he exists! He’s 9 years old and I’ve been in the mom role since about 2012. So, I missed the dirty diapers and midnight feedings (this is the way to go I tell you). I will not complain about that!

He’s growing up to be a great boy, which isn’t always easy when you live in 2 homes. It hasn’t always been easy of course; moving from home to home on a weekly basis and having new families at each end is a lot of WORK. He’s very helpful with my disability, which makes me happy. He loves to push the wheelchair, which can be a little terrifying at times. I am sure an amazing crash is in our future. I will be sure to photograph or videotape that for the blog.

He’s learning to snowboard right now so that once I have the sit ski under control we can all hit the slopes together. His first dream before that is to become a parkour master. I’ll have to leave that sport to him since jumping off buildings and whatnot seems risky for my ability level.

Well, that completes our little family! We may get another fur family member in the future, but that’s another story. The boy would like us to have another child, but there is no risk of that happening. I can assure you of that!

I love him to pieces.
