Dear Diary, January 4th, 2018
Dear Diary: It’s been 1,668 days since transplant surgery. Work contacted me yesterday to ask me what job I did for them in order to process my retirement. I only worked for CSC for 11 years, so it’s a good thing they contacted me. That makes you feel special; hi, you are a valued employee. We are sorry to see you retire. By the way, what did you do for us again? It would be funnier if it wasn’t absolutely disgusting.
In addition, I sent a text to the wrong person this week and hurt their feelings. Lesson? Make sure you send your texts to the right people! It was minor and apologies were handed out and it’s over. Lesson learned!!
I’ve been exhausted all week from medication changes and doing to much over Christmas. My wife’s parents live in the next building now, instead of all the way across the country. It has kept us busy. I wish my parents could live closer so I could spend time with them more than 2 or 3 times a year. That would be nice, but likely will never happen. Not to mention my wife may not want them next door, too!!
That’s all for this week. Time to keep reading my new books from Christmas. I hope this year can be better than last year.
